Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Consultant in the Supply Chain Manufacturing practice to help clients establish, optimize, and transform manufacturing operations with technology delivery skills. You will work with plant teams, engineers, operators, IT and OT teams, and solution vendors to translate operational needs into deployable capabilities across productivity, reliability, quality, visibility, and agility.

You will lead delivery across design, testing, deployment, adoption, and benefits realization

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, information systems, computer science, business, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial technology, systems implementation, or consulting.
• Experience explaining how technology supports operational processes and business outcomes.
• Experience producing structured delivery artifacts such as process maps, requirements, user stories, functional designs, test scripts, deployment plans, or risk reporting.
• Ability to travel to manufacturing sites as required by engagement needs; travel can range from 80–100%.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support client-facing manufacturing transformation workstreams and define clear, executable project deliverables.
• Assess manufacturing processes, pain points, performance gaps, data flows, and technology constraints across plant environments.
• Translate requirements into functional designs, user stories, data mappings, and acceptance criteria.
• Configure, prototype, test, or support deployment of digital manufacturing solutions with client teams.
• Connect plant-floor use cases with ERP, MES/MOM, historians, SCADA, quality, maintenance, and planning systems.
• Support solution architecture and integration discussions across IT and OT environments.
