Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior in the Supply Chain Manufacturing practice to help clients optimize and transform manufacturing operations. You will blend manufacturing know-how with technology delivery, working with plant teams, IT and OT, and solution providers to improve productivity, quality, and visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, information systems, computer science, business, or a related field.
• Approximately 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, supply chain, industrial technology, systems implementation, consulting, or a related environment.
• Experience working in or with manufacturing operations and the ability to explain how technology supports operational processes and business outcomes.
• Experience producing structured delivery artifacts such as process maps, requirements, user stories, functional designs, test scripts, training materials, deployment plans, or status and risk reporting.
• Ability and willingness to work directly with clients and travel to manufacturing sites as required by engagement needs. Travel can range from 80-100%.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across business, engineering, IT, OT, and vendor teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support client-facing manufacturing transformation workstreams and define clear, executable project deliverables.
• Assess manufacturing processes, pain points, performance gaps, user needs, data flows, and technology constraints across plant environments.
• Translate manufacturing requirements into functional designs, user stories, data mappings, and integration needs.
• Configure, prototype, test, or support deployment of digital manufacturing solutions with client teams and vendors.
• Connect plant-floor use cases with ERP, MES/MOM, historians, SCADA, quality, maintenance, and analytics.
• Support solution architecture and IT/OT integration discussions across interfaces and master data.
• Plan and execute functional and system testing, cutover, training, and benefits tracking.
• Facilitate workshops with operators, engineers, quality, and leadership stakeholders.
• Identify delivery risks and communicate status to client and engagement leadership.
• Coordinate tasks for junior team members and contribute to a high-quality delivery environment.
• Support account teams with solution shaping, demonstrations, estimates, and proposals.
