Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Test Engineer to own end-to-end electrical testing for the Optical Head Assembly in the OISL Manufacturing Team. You will lead a team of test engineers, drive test methods from concept through production, and ensure high quality, low latency, and scalable testing in a fast-paced environment.

You will collaborate with design, operations, quality, and software teams, perform root-cause analysis on test yield issues, and guide capital investments to expand production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent.
• 10+ years of practical electrical device experience in design or manufacturing.
• Experience with test plan development and test bench infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Python and ECAD tools.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop, and scale production test methods for electrical and environmental tests.
• Lead Root Cause & Corrective Action investigations for failed devices.
• Collaborate with Electrical Design to improve robustness for future iterations.
• Partner with Supplier Quality to enhance material quality for production.
• Industrialize and scale testing processes for Optical Head Assembly.
• Work with Manufacturing Test Software Teams to improve test software.
