Job summary

Robust AI is seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer to join a fast-paced startup focused on robotics and autonomous systems. You will lead the design, development, and validation of manufacturing tests for warehouse robotics, partnering with CM and internal teams to drive quality and performance.

The role demands 7+ years in test engineering, strong test-design skills, and proficiency in Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, and TestStand, with solid mechatronics knowledge and data-analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of manufacturing or production test engineering.
• Experience with test design and development.
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python, C/C++, LabVIEW, TestStand).
• Strong understanding of mechatronic systems.
• Experience with data analysis and SPC tools.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software in a production environment.
• CAD experience and fixture design.

Responsibilities

• Lead specification, development, and validation of manufacturing tests.
• Drive test yield improvement and defect reduction via data analysis.
• Own test hardware and software from concept to production release.
• Develop test documentation including test plans and procedures.
• Interface with contract manufacturers and vendors for test capability, scalability, and consistency.
• Communicate lessons learned to hardware and partner engineering teams.
