Job summary

Enovis is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician in Austin, TX to own advanced manufacturing operations, including equipment setup, calibration, rework, and quality testing of parts and final assemblies. You will partner with engineers to optimize processes, resolve complex challenges, and mentor junior technicians.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, and Kaizen participation, with strong focus on data-driven decision making and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical/engineering degree preferred.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, production, or process support roles.
• Knowledge of ISO, FDA, GMP quality systems and calibration.
• Proficient with data collection and process monitoring software.
• Able to lead, mentor, and troubleshoot complex issues.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers on setup, calibration, and validation of production equipment.
• Perform advanced rework, inspection, and quality testing per specs.
• Use software to collect and analyze operating data for process improvements.
• Make real-time adjustments to products or equipment based on data.
• Develop and refine manufacturing methods to improve efficiency and safety.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Provide training and technical guidance to junior technicians.
• Support Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
