Job summary

Enovis in Austin, Texas seeks a Manufacturing Technician to own advanced manufacturing operations, including equipment setup, calibration, rework and quality testing. You will partner with engineers to optimize processes and support continuous improvement while mentoring technicians.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, knowledge of ISO/FDA/GMP controls, and strong data collection skills to drive quality and efficiency in a fast-paced medical technology environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, production, or process support roles.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, calibration, and quality systems (ISO, FDA, GMP).
• Proficient in using data collection and process monitoring software.
• Experience serving as a team lead or SME preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers on setup, calibration, and validation of production equipment and systems.
• Perform advanced rework, inspection, and quality testing to meet internal and regulatory specifications.
• Use software to collect, analyze, and evaluate operating data.
• Conduct real-time adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment based on data findings.
• Develop and refine manufacturing methods and procedures to improve efficiency, safety, and quality.
• Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for complex production issues.
• Provide training, guidance, and technical leadership to junior technicians.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, Lean manufacturing, and Kaizen activities.
