This is a Senior Manufacturing Technician position responsible for supporting manufacturing operations which includes advanced technical and troubleshooting support for highly automated production equipment. This position is also responsible for supporting and assisting the Manufacturing Engineering Department with project activities such as protocols, engineering studies, equipment design and fabrication and prototyping. This individual will be able to exercise a disciplined approach to solving mechanical and electrical problems while adhering to procedures and practices of working within a regulated industry environment. This individual will also be responsible for identifying plant needs around preventive and predictive maintenance, technical training, spare part inventories and manufacturing process improvements. This individual participates in various cross-functional teams related to design, development and manufacturing of medical products. This individual assists in new product, process and equipment implementations. This individual interacts with outside vendors on a regular basis for the purpose of purchasing parts and test equipment.
•Performs advanced equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
•Provide technical guidance to Manufacturing and Equipment Maintenance in helping to plan PMs, assisting or leading with completion of PM activities, assisting or leading configuration and tool changes, assessing work completed by line technicians
•Assessment of line performance to determine short and long term maintenance needs of equipment over time, including the development of maintenance SOPs and Preventive Maintenance
•Update drawings and specifications in the PDM system
•Participate in the development of manufacturing processes including supporting the design of prototypes, test fixtures and assembly stations
•Responsible for the development, identification of needs and execution of technical training for Manufacturing and Maintenance Technicians
•Responsible for leading the technical investigation of exception events or quality issues, identifying and executing immediate corrections and identifying long term corrective actions that prevent reoccurrence
•This position will provide technical expertise and leadership needed to operate and maintain complex automated production systems.
•This position directly impacts supply center financials and product gross margin in ensuring that production related equipment is achieving standard performance rates.
•This position directly impacts the ability to achieve planned production output ensuring customer replenishment demand is met.
•This position ensures adherence to quality system standards and that production related equipment produces product that is within specifications.
•This position will provide technical training and guidance to more junior operational personnel in the Manufacturing and Maintenance departments.

•Demonstrated advanced problem solving or troubleshooting of Mechanical / Automated assembly equipment – 7+ years
