Qualifications

• Mentor lower-level technicians.

• Hourly Pay: $34.00 per hour
• Certification Bonus of $100 for each New ASE Certification Obtained up to $700

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Vocational or Technical Certification preferred
• Basic tools required
• Experience in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines (3+ years preferred)
• Valid CDL CLASS A preferred
• All other certifications required by location
• Minimum 2 years experience with heavy/medium duty repairs
• Knowledge of computer skills: PC, Windows, etc.
• Must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months, pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle maintenance and repair including preventive maintenance and diagnostics
• Facility maintenance duties
• Interact with customers/drivers to determine issues
• Use of Shop Management System and documentation
• Compliance with safety and DOT guidelines
• Mentor lower-level technicians
• Access and use maintenance documents
• Support operations as needed
• Complete OEM diagnostic courses as required
