Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) seeks a Principal Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer to drive capacity creation by integrating processes, tooling, workflows, and supporting systems for factory readiness and performance.

You will identify constraints, develop corrective actions, and collaborate with engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and CGO to deploy improvements that boost throughput and takt adherence.

Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Identify and characterize manufacturing constraints related to cycle time, variability, flow breaks, and material flow.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts to remove barriers to capacity creation.
• Develop and execute corrective action plans using data and on-the-floor validation.
• Verify solutions improve flow, yield, takt adherence, or throughput.
• Translate readiness needs into actionable technical requirements for processes, tooling, layouts, and workflows.
• Support deployment, setup, and prove-in of new manufacturing capabilities across CGO programs.
• Conduct hands-on readiness activities such as dry runs, pilot builds, workstation trials, and characterization builds.
• Identify bottlenecks and drive mitigation strategies with Lean, safety, and operator-centered design.
• Serve as an integration point across functions driving multi-disciplinary tasks to stand up or expand factory capacity.
• Coordinate inputs across engineering, operations, quality, supply chain, and CGO for readiness events.
