Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking an Automation Leader in Whitehall, MI to oversee fabrication and machining automation initiatives, drive process improvements, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver robust production lines.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering, hands-on robotics with 6-axis arms, and strong troubleshooting of pneumatics, tooling, and controls, plus the ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering.
• Automation experience in fabrication/manufacturing environments.
• Robotics experience with 6-axis articulating arms.
• Troubleshoot mechanical systems including pneumatics, tooling, and feedback.
• Basic understanding of controls and servo systems.
• Basic understanding of tooling and fixture design.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
