Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) in Gardena, CA is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor to lead a 40+ person team. The role focuses on safe, timely, high-quality, cost-efficient production aligned with throughput targets.

You will manage labor planning, data reporting, training, and continuous improvement initiatives, driving productivity and cost control in a fast-paced aerospace/manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years manufacturing experience; aerospace, forging, or machining backgrounds preferred.
• Supervisory experience leading teams of 40+ people and performance management.
• Analytical skills and personal accountability; strong organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage production area to maximize productivity while achieving safety, quality and throughput targets.
• Review and plan daily/weekly labor, equipment, and materials to meet targets.
• Ensure all production data is gathered and reported daily.
• Ensure employees are trained on procedures and practices.
• Direct and supervise hiring, training, assigning, directing, and evaluating staff.
• Review costs and productivity; implement corrective actions when targets are missed.
• Lead continuous improvement projects and support quality initiatives.
• Provide manufacturing expertise when problems arise; stay abreast of process improvements.
