MasterBrand Cabinets LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, layout changes, and equipment optimization onsite in Waterloo, IA. The role requires regular on-site work with up to 50% travel to support manufacturing efficiency, uptime, and quality across production lines.

You will partner with safety, maintenance, and engineering teams to implement PMs, countermeasures, and continuous improvement initiatives, including line balancing and reliability studies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite required.
• CNC programming experience and equipment justifications preferred.
• Knowledge of edge banding processes and lean practices a plus.

Responsabilités

• Support layout changes and equipment moves for existing or new equipment introductions.
• Review downtime history and analyze likelihood of repeated failures.
• Evaluate opportunities to increase material yield and implement countermeasures.
• Review, update, and develop PMs; implement early warning indicators.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting during breakdowns and assist in design/technical issues.
• Analyze spare parts and support Lean initiatives using lean tools.
