Job summary

MasterBrand Cabinets LLC in the United States is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements, ensure machine uptime, and boost product quality across our production lines. You will work with safety, maintenance, and corporate engineering to implement projects with measurable impact on efficiency and labor utilization.

This role requires onsite presence and up to 50% travel, with preferred sites in Waterloo, IA, Jasper, IN, Sioux Falls, IA, or Howard Lake, MN.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years in engineering support in manufacturing.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• CNC programming and equipment justification experience.
• Lean knowledge and strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Support layout changes and equipment moves.
• Analyze downtime history and failure likelihood.
• Increase material yield opportunities.
• Update PM schedules and countermeasures.
• Troubleshoot equipment during breakdowns.
• Assist in machine design and programming issues.
• Ensure data backups for PLCs and controllers.
• Support lean initiatives in production.
