Job summary

Club Car seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to drive process excellence across manufacturing. You will shape technical requirements, analyze processes, and influence designs for manufacturability and serviceability, collaborating with Product Management, Sourcing, Engineering and Operations.

You will apply PFMEA, control plans, SPC, and lean design to improve productivity and cost effectiveness while managing projects with minimal oversight. Travel under 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or related engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in Manufacturing, supply chain and/or logistics desirable.
• Experience with APQP tools including PFMEA, control plans and SPC.
• Experience with CAD/PLM/MES systems; CREO and Windchill preferred.
• Lean principles and techniques: Mistake Proofing, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Participate in selecting optimal manufacturing processes to simplify and standardize quality objectives.
• Collaborate with design teams for DFMA and serviceability.
• Maintain technical knowledge to maximize productivity and quality.
• Develop cost-benefit analyses for projects and improvements.
• Drive continuous improvements through lean principles and best practices.
• Coordinate with supply chain to optimize layout and material flow.
