BBSI has partnered with a well-established industrial equipment manufacturer based in the Inland Empire. We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to serve as the central hub for engineering activity as the go-to technical expert, supporting production, driving improvements, and shaping future product innovations. You'll work cross-functionally with Production, Sales, Quality, and Purchasing to solve challenges and elevate operations.

Job Summary

As the Manufacturing Process Engineer , you’ll streamline operations, enhance product designs, and tackle production challenges head-on. From troubleshooting on the floor to driving cost-saving improvements, you'll collaborate across departments to deliver smart, efficient solutions.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain engineering documentation and CAD drawings in the ERP system
• Troubleshoot production issues and lead root cause analysis
• Optimize product designs for cost, performance, and manufacturability
• Standardize components and reduce inventory complexity
• Support customer-specific solutions and advise internal teams
• Identify cost-saving alternatives and ensure regulatory compliance
• Drive lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives
• Support new product development and legacy updates

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 5+ years in a manufacturing or mechanical product environment
• Strong CAD and documentation skills
• Experience resolving mechanical challenges and driving design changes
• Excellent cross-functional communication and project coordination
