Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor's degree in manufacturing technology or a related field with six or more years of experience.
• Demonstrates full knowledge of manufacturing planning principles, concepts, practices and standards and MRP software systems.
• Ability to independently develop solutions to complex problems using production concepts.
• Possesses excellent organizational, reading drawings, communication, and confidentiality skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; DoD security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Resolves manufacturing issues and expedites nonconformance reports and engineering change requests.
• Develops and maintains illustrated work instructions and WDS work instructions.
• Interprets engineering drawings and determines effects on processes and parts.
• Issues Tool Orders to make, alter, or scrap tools as required.
• Coordinates investigations with manufacturing engineering and other stakeholders; interfaces with internal and external parties.
• Represents the organization on contracts or projects and may present to others.
• Observes laws, regulations, and operating procedures; works safely.
• Performs additional duties as assigned.
