Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned General Manager to lead cultivation and production facility operations in Adel, GA. You will oversee daily operations, set plans and budgets, and coordinate procurement, production, and services to meet performance goals.

Qualifications

Job description

• Direct, manage, and optimize overall cultivation and production facility operations in Adel, Georgia
• Oversee daily operations of the business unit
• Establish plans, budgets, performance measurements, and resource allocations
• Coordinate procurement, production, cultivation, and technical services policies and practices
• Develop key performance goals for functions and direct reports
• Manage key functional managers and executives
• Ensure delivery and quality of Trulieve cannabis products
• Maintain budgets and optimize expenses
• Oversee hiring and talent development programs
• Establish and enforce organizational quality standards
• Evaluate investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent
• Communicate strategy and results to employees
• Report key results to corporate officers and participate in strategic planning
• Improve operational and financial performance
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory, and company requirements
• Resolve business issues such as profit decline, employee conflicts, and competitive losses
• Review and enforce Trulieve policies and standard operating procedures
• Provide regular reports, at least quarterly, and as requested
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, publications, networks, benchmarking, and professional societies
• Monitor and educate others on changing regulations, laws, and industry best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, business administration, law, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
• 5+ years’ experience working in manufacturing, agriculture, and/or food service industry
• 5+ years’ proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role
• Experience in planning and budgeting
• Knowledge of business processes and functions, including finance, HR, procurement, and operations
• Strong analytical ability
• Superior project management skills
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
• Ability to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and with varied personalities and seniority levels
• Ability to train, develop, and evaluate a team
• Must possess the mental and physical capacities necessary to perform the job duties
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must possess a valid driving license and a clear driving record
• Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening
• Must be available to work 55+ hours weekly, with flexible hours depending on business needs
• Must be available for occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Some travel required
