Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Manufacturing Senior Associate to lead a device assembly and packaging line, ensuring production runs in full cGMP compliance and coordinating with technicians for equipment setup and maintenance.

The role requires coordinating with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing Support to resolve issues, provide training, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in lean manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to manage change in a fast-paced plant environment
• Experience working with cross-functional teams (Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing)
• Strong analytical skills to interpret manufacturing data and drive improvements
• Background in lean manufacturing and operational excellence is preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations on the production floor and oversee equipment setup and operation
• Maintain machine uptime and troubleshoot automated equipment issues
• Ensure compliance with cGMP and safety requirements at all times
• Provide training and technical support to manufacturing staff on processes and equipment
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing Support to resolve events promptly
