Job summary

Amgen in New Albany, Ohio, is seeking a Manufacturing Senior Associate to lead production floor operations, perform equipment setup and troubleshooting, and ensure safety and quality compliance. You will train staff, provide technical support, and collaborate across Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include a high school diploma with 4 years biotech/pharma manufacturing experience or an equivalent degree.
• Alternative pathways with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree are acceptable with relevant experience.
• Master's degree is also listed as a qualifying credential with related experience.
• Experience with cGMP and manufacturing operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing operations on the production floor, including setup, operation, and troubleshooting.
• Maintain machine uptime and clear stoppages on automated equipment to ensure throughput.
• Follow safety and compliance procedures at all times and escalate risks as needed.
• Train staff on processes and equipment and provide technical support.
• Collaborate with Quality, Engineering and Mfg Support to resolve events promptly.
• Support CAPA, deviation triage, and document control (SOPs, MPs, forms).
