Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a Sr. Application Operations Engineer to own hardware-connected applications and manufacturing technology integrations across shop, lab, and test environments.

You will translate shopfloor needs into stable, secure technical solutions and collaborate with DT, engineering, and operations leadership to enable SQDC priorities. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of professional experience OR an Associate degree with 5+ years OR a High School Diploma with 7+ years of professional experience.
• Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment, configuration, integration, and continuous improvement of hardware-enabled applications and connected manufacturing technologies.
• Support digital factory capabilities including machine connectivity, industrial I/O, sensors, and IoT/edge devices.
• Provide technical support for site-specific software and platforms such as factory management and analytics.
