Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Denver, CO seeks a Sr. Manufacturing Hardware Engineer to own NPI manufacturing execution for GPU accelerator platforms and improve yield and reliability on the production line.

You will work across hardware design, supply chain, and ODMs, leading DFx reviews, test strategy, and continuous improvement to ensure manufacturability and high quality during ramp and fleet health. The role requires hands-on debugging and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering/business programs.
5+ years of end to end product delivery experience.
7+ years of manufacturing or manufacturing engineering in high-tech hardware.
Hands-on hardware debug across electrical, firmware, mechanical domains.
Experience with SMT assembly and PCB fabrication/assembly for HDI boards.
Experience driving quality and schedule at multinational ODMs/CMs.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (~25%).

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end NPI manufacturing execution for GPU accelerator platforms across EVT/DVT/PVT and pilot production.
Develop First Build Readiness Plans covering BOM, assembly strategy, test code readiness, and build instructions.
Define Manufacturing Test Strategy including test flows and fixture requirements.
Lead DFx reviews and drive design improvements with hardware engineering teams.
Create manufacturing capacity plans with line balance and cycle time analysis.
Lead DFMEA/PFMEA reviews and develop process flow diagrams and QC plans.
Develop Technical Manufacturing Information (TMI) for CM enablement.
