Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hardware Engineering seeks a Manufacturing Hardware Engineer to own manufacturing stability, yield improvements, from design through volume production and fleet health on GPU accelerator platforms.

You will debug on the line across hardware, firmware, and physical layers, drive test strategy, DFx reviews, and collaborate with ODMs/CMs to ensure manufacturability and high quality as production ramps.

Qualifications

• Hands-on hardware debugging across electrical, firmware, and mechanical domains.
• Experience identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Proven track record delivering manufacturing-ready hardware at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end NPI manufacturing execution for GPU accelerator platforms.
• Perform risk assessments and carry-over analysis to mitigate risks.
• Develop first build readiness plans for BOM, assembly, and test.
• Define manufacturing test strategy and acceptance criteria.
• Lead DFx reviews and drive design improvements with hardware teams.
• Create capacity plans to maximize throughput.
• Lead DFMEA/PFMEA reviews and quality control plans.
• Collaborate with design, operations, firmware, test, and qualification teams.
