Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Cupertino seeks a Senior Manufacturing Hardware Engineer to own manufacturing stability and yield improvements across GPU accelerator platforms.

You will work from design through volume production and fleet health, debugging at the line and driving test strategy, process optimization, and quality control. You will interface between hardware design, supply chain, and contract manufacturers to ensure manufacturability and launch with high quality, while

Qualifications

• Ba/bachelor level degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years end-to-end product delivery experience.
• 7+ years manufacturing or manufacturing engineering in high-tech hardware.
• Hands-on hardware debug across electrical, firmware, mechanical domains.
• Experience with SMT assembly and PCB fabrication for HDI boards.
• Experience with ODMs/CMs quality and schedule execution.
• Willingness to travel ~25%, domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end NPI manufacturing execution for GPU accelerator platforms across EVT/DVT/PVT and pilot production.
• Develop and apply Manufacturing Test Strategy and DFx reviews.
• Lead DFMEA/PFMEA reviews and develop QC plans.
• Create manufacturing capacity plans and line balance analyses.
• Collaborate with design, operations, firmware, test and qualification teams to close loop between manufacturing issues and design improvements.
• Provide on-site ODM/CM support during critical builds and production ramp.
• Drive continuous improvement through automation and predictive diagnostics.
