Job summary

True Anomaly is seeking a Senior Manager of Manufacturing Finance in Denver to build the financial foundation for scaling spacecraft and payload production. You’ll lead cost, capex, and financial governance, acting as a trusted partner to operations.

You will start as an individual contributor, then grow a team as the function matures, shaping pricing, investment justifications, and quarterly forecasts.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of finance experience with ownership of manufacturing/production/ops finance.
• Experience building financial infrastructure for manufacturing operations, processes, tools, and cost frameworks.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing cost structures including overhead rates, BOM, variances, and capital expenditure planning.
• Experience partnering with supply chain and procurement on financial governance and purchasing controls.
• Familiarity with facility finance, capital planning, and scaling a production environment.
• Strong FP&A foundation: bottoms-up forecasting, long-range planning, and variance analysis in an operations context.
• Ability to serve as a credible partner to operational leaders and discuss financial implications.
• Aerospace, defense, or advanced manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
• Experience at a high-growth or early-stage company is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial planning, forecasting, and cost structure for all production operations, including overhead, facilities, capex, procurement, BOMs, and actuals.
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, and facilities leadership to provide financial counsel and ensure cost-focused decision making.
• Establish processes, tools, and governance for manufacturing finance, including procurement oversight and capex controls.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain on purchasing governance and value-driven procurement decisions.
• Develop and manage manufacturing overhead rate structures, ensuring compliance with cost accounting standards.
• Coordinate with FP&A and Program Finance to align production economics with enterprise planning.
• Build and lead a manufacturing finance team as production scales.
• Support pricing and proposals with accurate cost inputs for new business.
• Lead financial analysis for build-vs-buy, ROI, and in-house manufacturing investments.
• Support capacity and demand planning with financial modeling for resource allocation.
