Job summary

Maple Leaf Foods in Indianapolis, IN seeks a Senior Manufacturing Finance Analyst to bridge cost accounting and operations, ensuring accurate labour, yield, and usage data. Youll support budgeting, postings, and journal entries while driving cost improvements and new product costing.

Youll work with manufacturing, engineering, and finance to implement efficient processes, manage inventory counts, and provide essential reporting to plant management. Strong SAP and Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Post-Secondary Education in a finance/business related program required.
• 2+ years of progressive manufacturing costing experience in an ERP environment (SAP preferred).
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and accurate daily/weekly cost reporting to plant management.
• Forecast weekly/monthly results and support budgeting processes.
• Manage inventory through cycle counts and postings, resolving issues.
• Assist with journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations as needed.
• Support Six Sigma cost-improvement opportunities and new product costing.
