Job summary

RTX's Collins Aerospace in Jacksonville, FL seeks a Senior Manufacturing Facilities and Maintenance Manager to lead site facilities operations, maintenance activities and building systems performance across the manufacturing site. You will ensure reliability, safety, and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement and supporting production goals.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience.
• Experience with PLC controls and electrical schematics; autoclaves and high pressure boilers.
• 7+ years of maintenance or facilities management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and develop the facilities and maintenance team, including technicians, contractors, and service providers.
• Plan, schedule, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
• Oversee maintenance for building systems including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection, security systems, and grounds.
• Coordinate and manage capital improvement projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations, and applicable codes.
• Develop budgets for facilities maintenance, utilities, and capital projects; manage costs effectively.
• Partner with manufacturing, safety, engineering, and operations teams to support production efficiency and facility reliability.
