Job summary

RNInk seeks an experienced Applications Manager to lead ERP and enterprise applications in a manufacturing environment. Focus areas include JD Edwards-based ERP, custom software, and OT integration across shop-floor systems.

You will guide technical teams, align software with manufacturing goals, and drive continuous improvement. The role requires strong ERP management experience, leadership, and collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance to optimize processes and data

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in ERP systems, business applications, software development, or application management.
• Minimum of 3 years managing technical teams.
• Manufacturing industry experience required.
• Strong experience managing, supporting, implementing, or enhancing enterprise ERP applications.
• Experience with ERP integrations, software implementations, and business process improvement.
• Experience with Agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban.

Responsibilities

• Lead ERP and enterprise applications—support, enhancements, optimization, and upgrades.
• Partner with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance to translate requirements into improvements.
• Oversee ERP configurations, integrations, upgrades, and ongoing support.
• Direct custom software development initiatives and ensure scalable, maintainable solutions.
• Promote integration between ERP, custom apps, databases, and other enterprise tech.
• Apply Agile methods to improve delivery and project execution.
• Develop roadmaps and prioritize initiatives based on business impact.
• Collaborate with OT and shop-floor tech to improve data visibility and reporting.
• Lead a small team of developers and analysts; set performance expectations.
