Job summary

Carestream Health is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager, onsite in Rochester, NY, to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives across medical imaging systems and components.

You will work with design, manufacturing engineering, operations, planning, purchasing, and leadership to drive projects from initiation to production readiness, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality targets are met. This role requires US residence and onsite presence.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 5+ years of engineering experience with at least 3+ years in engineering project management within manufacturing or medical devices.
• Residence in the United States and ability to work onsite at the Rochester facility.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating across design, manufacturing, operations, planning, and supply chain.
• Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional projects from initiation through completion, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with milestones and dependencies.
• Coordinate execution across engineering, operations, planning, quality, supply chain, and R&D.
• Establish project governance, tracking tools, and regular status reporting.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and drive timely resolutions.
• Support prioritization and resource planning across concurrent projects.
• Drive process improvements and implementation of new tools or workflows.
• Travel less than 5% as needed.
