Job summary

Endologix is seeking a Sr. Manager, Manufacturing Engineering to lead and optimize manufacturing activities for next generation vascular devices.

You will stabilize current production, develop processes, tooling, and fixtures, and guide design for manufacturability across cross-functional teams. The role requires strong leadership, analytical, and regulatory expertise to ensure high quality and compliant manufacturing operations at a California-based medical device company.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related technical field (physics or mathematics).
• Minimum 15 years of related experience.
• Experience with AAA/Peripheral catheters and interventional delivery systems.
• Familiarity with FDA, ISO, GMP, and design controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize Manufacturing Engineering activities to stabilize and improve current products.
• Plan, manage, and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures for next generation devices.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, R&D, Supply Chain, and Regulatory teams to align priorities.
• Mentor and oversee Manufacturing Engineering and Equipment Maintenance teams.
• Support new product introduction and design for manufacturability initiatives.
• Lead cost reduction efforts while safeguarding quality and compliance.
