Job summary

Tenneco in Indiana is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering & Maintenance Manager to lead Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, and Technical Services in a high‑volume plant. You’ll drive engineering solutions, maintain equipment, support new product launches, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

You will manage capital and operating budgets, mentor diverse technical teams, and report to the Napoleon Plant Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• 8–10 years of progressive engineering/maintenance leadership.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams.
• Experience with manufacturing processes and equipment reliability.
• Familiarity with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, APQP/PPAP.
• Strong project management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities, and Technical Services to ensure safe operations.
• Develop and coach technical teams across multiple shifts.
• Oversee launches, tooling, automation, and production system optimization.
• Direct budgets, capital projects, and vendor relationships.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements.
