Job summary

MGC Diagnostics is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead a team of manufacturing engineers and execute high-impact initiatives across its diagnostic product lines. This role combines people leadership with direct ownership of large projects that improve manufacturability, quality, flow, validation, supplier performance, and cost.

The ideal candidate brings strong medical device or equipment manufacturing experience and disciplined project execution, with a proven ability

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required.
10+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing, process, or operations roles.
5+ years in a management or formal people leadership role.
Experience implementing structured project management methods.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement systems.
Experience in a regulated medical device environment (ISO 13485).
Experience improving yield, quality, and manufacturability of electromechanical or diagnostic equipment.
Experience partnering with supply chain and suppliers on sourcing and cost reduction.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team, setting priorities and accountability.
Manage a portfolio of manufacturing projects to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and scalability.
Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving through Projects and Kaizen Events.
Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to support reliable production and transfer.
Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&D to execute cross-functional improvements.
Ensure compliance with quality system requirements and validated manufacturing practices.
