Job summary

Haynes International in Arcadia, LA seeks an Industrial Engineering and Project Management leader to develop processes for melted alloys and titanium products. You will direct tooling operations, supervise the mandrel shop, and drive process improvements across manufacturing lines.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record in lean initiatives, safety, and cost control to support operational needs and company profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or applied sciences.
• Minimum 5 years job experience in Industrial Engineering and Project Management.
• 3–5 years job experience in supervisory/management position.
• 2–4 years job experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• 2–4 years job experience in multitask work environment.
• Primary metals and metallurgy knowledge.
• Project Management and Capacity Requirements Planning knowledge.
• Lean Principles and Lean Tools knowledge.
• ISO 9001 Standards knowledge; AS9100 knowledge.
• Microsoft based MRP system familiarity.
• Health & Safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop processes, routings, and SOPs to cost effectively produce Haynes melted alloy and titanium products.
• Monitor, analyze, and report manufacturing process performance to standard and implement improvements.
• Train staff and supervise engineering teams; hold teams accountable for plan execution.
• Direct tooling operations and mandrel shop leadership.
• Provide security in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley and company protocols for Arcadia facility.
• Communicate project status and facility improvements to Senior Management.
• Support maintenance and evaluate capital projects to meet performance goals.
• Assist with spending management and provide cost-control reporting.
