Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Clifton, NJ is seeking a Sr. Associate, Manufacturing Engineering to implement and analyze manufacturing plans, develop tools and systems, and coordinate with engineering for the release of new products.

This role requires pursuing or recently completed a Master's degree in a related field and offers a competitive salary. The position operates on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off, and eligibility for relocation stipend, 401(k) and other benefits.

Qualifications

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field or have completed their Master's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.

Responsibilities

• Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects
• Design develop and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems
• Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes
• Interface with engineering in coordinating the release of new products
• Estimate manufacturing costs, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines
• Maintain records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations
