Job summary

Path Robotics in Columbus, OH is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to shape how we build our robotic welding cells as we scale. You will lead lean and continuous improvement on the build floor and play a central role in planning production layout for our new facilities.

This role reports to the Director of Manufacturing Operations and requires 7+ years in manufacturing engineering, CAD proficiency (AutoCAD/SolidWorks), and a hands-on lean practitioner mindset to drive improvements across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a production environment, ideally low-volume, high-mix assembly of complex electromechanical equipment, machinery or automation systems.
• Proven experience leading production facility layout projects from concept through move-in.
• Hands-on lean manufacturing practitioner with measurable results.
• Strong CAD capabilities for layout and reading engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead production layout planning for new buildings from concept through move-in, including process and material flow, workstation design, storage strategy, utilities and traffic.
• Partner with supply chain and build leadership to develop layouts supporting current volume and growth.
• Plan and manage the transition of production into new space with minimal disruption to schedules.
• Design intra-factory material flow from receiving to shipment of finished cells to build flow into new buildings.
