Job summary

dsm-firmenich Biomedical seeks a Senior Engineer Manufacturing to provide technical leadership across process development, scale-up, and commercialization at a regulated facility in Wayne, PA. You will drive improvements, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure quality, regulatory, and safety compliance.

The role requires 6+ years in medical devices or related manufacturing, experience with PSM and clean rooms, and a degree in Biomedical or related engineering discipline.

Qualifications

• 6+ years engineering experience in medical devices or related regulated manufacturing environment.
• PSM experience and clean room experience is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Biomedical, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, scale-up, validation, and commercialization activities for new and existing products.
• Drive improvements in manufacturing performance, productivity, quality, reliability, and cost through data-driven engineering solutions.
• Design, develop, and evaluate manufacturing equipment, tooling, automation, and machine systems to support operational excellence.
• Lead cross-functional project teams with technical direction, planning, risk assessment, and progress reporting.
• Support investigations, root cause analysis, change management, and resolution of manufacturing and customer-related quality issues.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality, Regulatory, R&D, and Commercial teams to ensure successful product implementation and lifecycle management.
