Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer V in Pontiac, IL to optimize production layouts and processes. The role involves leading improvements, developing documentation, and supporting cross-functional teams in a factory setting.

The candidate will drive MSA/FMEA, maintain control plans, and mentor junior engineers while leveraging CAD tools and data to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required for manufacturing engineering responsibilities.
• Approximately 5+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
• Hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in industrial layouts and production optimization.

Responsibilities

• Study time, motion, methods to establish standard production rates and improve efficiency.
• Review logs and sheets to verify QA specifications.
• Analyze workflows and layouts to propose improvements.
• Lead and perform MSA and FMEA to mitigate risks.
• Develop and maintain process flow documentation.
• Create and maintain control plans for product quality.
• Support Product Change Notices (PCNs) across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve production challenges.
• Provide leadership and mentoring to team members.
