Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer in the United States to lead process development, optimization and capital equipment projects for high-volume manufacturing environments. The role collaborates with Design Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain and Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or related engineering field.
• Minimum 7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience in a high-volume industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing process development and optimization for production and assembly operations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust manufacturing processes to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
• Provide technical leadership for capital equipment selection, installation, validation, and commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and root cause problem-solving methodologies.
• Evaluate and improve process capability, productivity, throughput, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including PFMEAs, control plans, and standard work.
