You will provide direct engineering support to Operations, focusing on product and process specifications, procedures, equipment optimization and maintenance, reporting to the Chemical Engineering Manager, and working 100% onsite.

Qualifications

• BS in an engineering discipline (Ceramic, Materials, or Chemical Engineering).
• 3–5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data to define problems; perform tests and implement corrective actions.
• Lead major manufacturing or process engineering projects including budgets and schedules.
• Design, install and qualify new equipment; upgrade existing equipment to improve utilization.
• Analyze and propose use of new technologies to solve manufacturing problems.
• Prepare technical papers and presentations for customers and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with management on production capabilities and schedules.
• Represent Westinghouse in professional societies or industry associations.
