Job summary

Skill is seeking a hands-on engineer to optimize manufacturing processes for Kitchen and Bath products, driving manufacturability, cost, and quality from concept to launch. This onsite role in Sheridan, AR offers autonomy to solve complex problems and directly influence new product introductions.

You will lead plant operations projects, build product cost models, provide DFMA input, and partner with quality, engineering, production, and supply chain to ensure on-time launches and robust process

Qualifications

B.S. degree in an ABET-accredited engineering program.
Minimum 2 years in industrial/manufacturing engineering, project management, or NPD.
Experience with multiple manufacturing processes (assembly, casting, forging, injection molding, stamping, finishing).
Ability to independently manage multiple complex projects.
Strong written and verbal communication across functions; proficient in SAP and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Own plant-level deliverables for the Kitchen and Bath Development Process, including PFEP, cost reductions, and capacity evaluations.
Incorporate manufacturing input into NPD projects via DFMA, FMEA, and design reviews.
Project management across quality, engineering, production, and materials for NPI/NPD projects.
Build product cost models and support cost reductions and launch targets.
Develop project timelines with Ops Lead NPI for on-time project execution.
Ensure accurate inventory timing and communicate project status to leadership.
Drive Time to Market improvements and ensure launch with specs and process capability.
Lead continuous improvement in NPD and manufacturing processes.
