Job summary

AtriCure, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop, qualify, verify and validate manufacturing processes for market-leading medical devices. You will influence design for manufacturing, tolerances, assembly methods and supplier selection to ensure reliable, cost-effective production.

You will lead process qualification activities, work with Lean and Six Sigma principles, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years in a manufacturing/engineering leadership role.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, cost reduction, and lifecycle costs.

Responsibilities

• Review component designs for manufacturability and cost trade-offs.
• Assess tolerances and GD&T for suitable fits and production capabilities.
• Evaluate assembly requirements and fabrication strategies; apply error-proofing concepts.
• Develop qualification strategies and support IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Plan manufacturing system flow and supplier coordination.
