Job summary

Medtronic is hiring a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for its Warsaw, Indiana site. You will lead machining, finishing, and assembly method development, drive Lean Sigma initiatives, and partner with project engineers to optimize make-vs-buy decisions.

Expect collaboration across quality, supply, and design teams to ensure manufacturability and cost efficiency. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's (or higher) in engineering with 4+ years of relevant experience; a Master’s or PhD is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering required with several years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Lean Sigma and risk management tools is preferred.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop machining, finishing, and assembly methods for product lines.
• Lead lean projects to improve quality, cost, and delivery.
• Review drawings and coordinate with design and purchasing.
• Support validation, CAPA, and supplier issues on the floor.
• Prepare manufacturing plans and update process documentation.
