Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manufacturing Engineer for a world-class medical device manufacturer in St.

Paul, MN. You will join the manufacturing engineering organization supporting continuous improvement and new product introduction, applying RCPS to production challenges and collaborating across operations and engineering. The role emphasizes Lean, 5S, flow optimization, and CAPAs, with 3–5+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Educational qualifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or another engineering/technical degree (or equivalent experience) aligned with engineering disciplines.
• Demonstrated leadership in a matrixed, fast-paced environment.
• Strong Lean and continuous improvement knowledge: 5S, time study, capacity modeling, standard work, material flow, VSM, process mapping, Kaizen.
• Ability to support FDA regulations, QMS, EMS, OSHA requirements, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects that improve manufacturing constraints, including space, material flow, storage, and process limits.
• Bridge Manufacturing Engineering and Operations to support new product introductions and layout decisions.
• Close process gaps via CAPAs, Production Excellence, quality metrics, changeover risk reduction, standard work, and 5S.
• Apply RCPS to production challenges beyond product/raw material issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve productivity, quality, process efficiency, space utilization, standardization, and lead times.
