Job summary

JonnyPops in Elk River, MN is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer who thrives on hands-on process improvements within a fast-paced, food-manufacturing environment. You will work on fluid processing—mixing, pasteurization, filtration—on the plant floor alongside operators and maintenance teams to drive real improvements.

You bring 8+ years of engineering experience, a Bachelor’s in Engineering, solid CAD skills (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA), and a proven ability to boost yield, safety, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Chemical or Process Engineering preferred
• 8+ years of engineering experience with hands-on fluid-related processing
• Experience in food or beverage manufacturing and understanding of GMPs
• Proficient in CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA)
• Strong understanding of machining, welding, forming, and assembly
• Experience with GD&T, FMEA, and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and in a team

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert for fluid processing on the floor
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost while managing risk
• Develop engineering strategy around processing line capability and optimization
• Design improvements to boost yield, reduce waste, and increase throughput
• Collaborate with plant leadership, Operations, and other engineers
• Lead or support equipment installations and capital projects
• Maintain documentation (P&IDs, CCPs, SOPs) and standardize processes
