Job summary

ACDi in Frederick, MD is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to plan, direct, and improve electronics manufacturing processes across SMT and through-hole assemblies. You will support pre/post-production activities, validate processes and equipment, and drive continuous improvements for throughput and quality.

Ideal candidates have a BS in Engineering, 8–10+ years in contract electronics manufacturing, and strong IPC soldering knowledge to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• 8–10+ years in electronic contract manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of IPC Military and International Standards; soldering knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare documentation for production processes including SOPs and work instructions.
• Provide engineering support for BOM load into MRP and ECN handling.
• Support NPI activities including process validation and equipment setup.
• Analyze workflows for PCB assemblies and tooling; troubleshoot equipment issues.
