Job summary

WindBorne Systems in Redwood Shores is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to own the engineering processes for newly designed parts. You will oversee the transition from design to manufacturing, ensuring quality and efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering and be ready to lead a team, enhancing design-for-manufacturability practices while fostering a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engineering, preferably manufacturing, with a track record in NPI and assembly.
• Hands-on experience designing functional test fixtures and protocols.
• Strong mechanical and pneumatic fixturing design skills.

• Own manufacturing engineering for parts as they transition off the design team.
• Build and run clean design-to-manufacturing handoffs.
• Develop end-to-end test fixtures and protocols.
