Job summary

Amca is looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer based in El Segundo, California. The role focuses on developing and costing bill of materials (BOM) for engineering projects and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective production processes.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field and at least 3 years of engineering experience in aerospace or a similar industry. Strong skills in reading engineering drawings and CAD are essential. This position requires onsite work five days a week.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a full-time technical engineering role in aerospace or similar industry.
• Ability to build accurate BOMs from engineering drawings.
• Working proficiency in CAD.

Responsibilities

• Own BOM development and costing for incoming opportunities.
• Run comparative analysis across design approaches.
• Serve as the technical point of contact for post-award execution.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Make go/no-go recommendations based on feasibility and risk.
