Job summary

Halliburton in Spring, TX is seeking a qualified engineer to contribute to design, analysis and tooling development across multiple projects. You will create CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks to support tooling and fixtures in the Production shop and collaborate with the Engineering team.

The role emphasizes designing automated electro-mechanical setups, reviewing BOMs and procedures, and participating in root cause analysis to improve products and processes.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering roles.
• Professional Engineer license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop CAD models and drawings in SolidWorks for tooling and fixtures.
• Design and implement automated electro-mechanical setups to boost production efficiency.
• Review BOMs, setup requirements, tooling and routers for first-time builds.
• Lead HSE and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste.
• Participate in design review meetings with Engineering/Design teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and failure investigations to improve products.
