Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering or related field with strong manufacturing and systems experience.
• Masters degree preferred and 5–8 years manufacturing or process engineering experience.
• Leadership experience of 1–2 years required.
• Experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365) is preferred.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing techniques and Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the Manufacturing Engineering Manager by organizing, leading, and reporting on tasks for final assembly operations.
• Collaborate with Production, CI, and Quality teams in daily readiness for Gemba meetings.
• Define, execute, and manage projects to identify process improvements, cost savings, efficiency, and quality gains.
• Identify and develop capital expenditure recommendations for new technology and equipment; execute approved expenditures.
• Work cross-functionally to maintain product quality through NPI and lifecycle.
• Update routing time accuracy for new and existing products.
• Develop processes for New Product Introduction and maintain project timelines.
• Create and update PFMEAs for existing and new products.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality for performance qualifications on new processes and equipment.
• Mentor maintenance technicians and ensure a safe working environment.
