Base pay range

$110,000.00/yr - $135,000.00/yr

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manufacturing Engineer to lead the development and optimization of manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving efficiency, quality, and innovation in our production operations, while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address production challenges.
• Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify design layouts for manufacturing.
• Implement Six Sigma methodologies to enhance process quality and performance.
• Conduct quality control checks and ensure compliance with ISO standards.
• Supervise maintenance and improvement of production equipment.
• Lead project management efforts for manufacturing improvements and new equipment installations.
• Train and mentor junior engineering staff in best practices and process improvement techniques.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial or related field).
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
• Experience with CAD software and design tools.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies; Green Belt certification is a plus.
• Proven project management skills with the ability to oversee complex projects.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and experience in root cause analysis.
