Job summary

Tiltedge Solutions in Dodge Center, MN, is seeking a tooling design engineer to develop weld and assembly tooling, fixtures, and work instructions to optimize manufacturing.

Responsibilities include 3D CAD design, process planning, standard operating procedures, and ongoing liaison with customers to ensure on-time delivery and cost reduction.

Qualifications

• Design & implementation of weld and assembly tooling.
• Assembly process planning.
• Creating & updating standard operating procedures, CN and DOU the process.
• Develop manufacturing process flow and with reduce cost.
• Systematic layout planning, production planning & control.
• Lean implementation.
• Racking system design for material stack up.
• Validation of Racks and cart based on the load capacity.
• Designing of cart and special purpose material handling devices.
• Designing of cart and special purpose material handling devices.
• Designing of cart and special purpose material handling devices.
• Designing of cart and special purpose material handling devices.
• Quality checking gauges.
• Material flow and standardization process support.
• Daily follow up with projects and interaction with customer.
• Supporting to continuous improvement process.
• 5S line support for line implementation.

Responsibilities
